Inside Sales for a Context-Driven Selling Process

The Market Development Manager (MDM) role is designed for experienced professionals in inside sales or new market development.

  • Operate from list of 100+ target accounts
    • Targets will be Fortune 1,000 companies
  • Develop understanding of target company’s sales organization
    • Speak with people
    • Learn from LinkedIn
    • Align this sales organization to taxonomy of sales orgs
  • Identify appropriate targets in sales organization
    • Jigsaw
    • LinkedIn
  • Customize message(s) for organization
    • Aligned to solutions
    • Aligned to recent earnings call
    • Entirely professional & informative

Outbound email & phone

  • Cadenced emails
  • Cadenced phone calls


Attend first meetings

  • WebEx or other online meetings


Follow-up from first meetings

  • The MDM or field sales rep will manage immediate follow-up

 Requirements

  • Consistent experience with Enterprise Software Sales
  • Examples of meeting and exceeding assigned goals
  • Attention to Detail and excellent communication skills
  • Bachelor Degree or above
