ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

SlideRocket is currently seeking an ambitious Account Executive who wants to join a dynamic, fast growing company. Our ideal candidate will have 3+ years of prior quota carrying experience. A consultative selling style is desired, coupled with the structure and organizational skills needed to drive deals to closure in a new business environment. Candidates must feel comfortable prospecting, cold-calling, managing a sales pipeline, and negotiating sales in person or via the phone on both transactional and high value/exposure deals. Additionally, the ability to identify, develop and manage a valuable prospect list based on our standard product offerings is crucial. This would be an inside sales position located in downtown San Francisco with a potential need to travel on occasion.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
* 3+ years of quota carrying software or technology sales and account management experience
* Demonstrated ability to consistently close sales, generate revenues, and over-achieve quotas
* Experience selling to multiple roles – Business Champions to C-Level
* Strong track record of high level negotiation and successful internal and external relationship management
* Strong analytical abilities
* Ability to interact with a broad set of businesses and presenting both over the phone and in-person
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and high-energy
* Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
* Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles
* Previous Sales Methodology training preferred
* Enterprise technology sales experience preferred

ADOBE FLEX ENGINEER

SlideRocket is looking for a Flex developer to work on an exciting rich internet application for creating, managing and distributing multi-media presentations. This is an opportunity to be an early employee at a recently funded startup with a real business model and great potential upside.

This position involves developing across a broad set of functionality including building rich media design tools, mashups with external datasources, social networking community features, visual effects and animations, developer APIs, online/offline synchronization and enterprise-level security and versioning. There is a ton of cool stuff that needs to be developed for SlideRocket and this is a great opportunity to work on a project that will have huge mainstream business and consumer exposure.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Develop features for the SlideRocket client application targeting both Flex and AIR runtimes.
 

REQUIRED SKILLS

WHITEBOX QUALITY ENGINEER

SlideRocket is looking for a Quality Engineer who can create a flex automation testing framework. The candidate will be required to draw from previous automation experience to recommend appropriate technology, work closely with the development team to identify testing approach, communicate and work with other QE team members to leverage and coordinate test efforts (as appropriate) and establish test coverage approaches. You will help drive the delivery of successful, cutting edge product by working on a team with other highly talented Development and Quality Engineers.

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Write thorough test plans and execute the plan in a timely and efficient manner.
* Write easy to understand test case steps and expected result descriptions.
* Work closely with programmers on the design and specification of features.
* Perform hands on testing of daily builds.
* Run automated testing of SlideRocket application.
* Code and develop UI automated testing framework which will mirror scenarios that users will likely encounter.
* Create test scenarios that exercise all new features of the product.
* Critically think about how customers will interact with the software being tested and turn those thoughts into bugs, action items, and avenues of discussion.
* Work extremely well with others by both leading and following depending on the circumstance.
* Continually research new flex testing technologies and incorporate that new knowledge into your ongoing QE process.
* Perform white box API testing.
* Find the bugs that others miss.
 

REQUIRED SKILLS
* Minimum of three years software engineering experience.
* BS in Computer Science or relevant experience.
* 3-5 Years of Automation/ Whitebox testing experience.
* Experience developing automated testing; white box testing framework.
* Self motivated and ability to communicate well with different functional groups. Strong software design and development skills.
* Desire to be on a highly productive, fast-paced team.
* Knowledge of Flex and/or Java, Python required.
* Ruby experience is a plus.
* Excellent trouble-shooting skills.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and pinpoint issues at a very granular level.
* Strong scripting abilities, preferably JavaScript, Perl, or PHP.
* Relevant work experience with at least two of Windows, Mac, or Linux is required · Knowledge of XML is a plus.

BLACK BOX TESTER

Do you find yourself passing the day by coming up with decision tables, or writing use cases for random items on your desk. Our ideal candidate will have 4+ years experience selling subscription based software or technology. A ‘quick’ consultative selling style is desired, coupled with the structure and organizational skills needed to drive deals to closure in a new business environment. Candidates must feel comfortable managing many distinct sales cycles with the goal of quickly closing smaller, transactional sales opportunities and strategically managing larger sales opportunities. Candidate may need to prospect, cold-call, and negotiate via phone an occasionally in person, on both transactional and high value/exposure deals.
